Join us for a special Oakland celebration of the release of Keep It Beautiful: Inside the Funkyverse of Shock G and Digital Underground, published by Clarkson Potter/Penguin Random House on August 25.
Come through for an evening rooted in Oakland, hip-hop, art, and community as friends, fans, and the Digital Underground family celebrate Shock G’s boundless creativity and the legacy he left behind.
The evening will feature music by DJ Fuze, special guests, book signing, and an opportunity to connect with the people and stories behind one of Oakland’s most influential hip-hop groups.
The first 100 attendees will have the opportunity to receive a copy of the book, while supplies last. Early arrival is strongly encouraged. An RSVP does not guarantee a book.
